These terms apply to this website, run by CP Enterprises of SC LLC as Carolina Steel Buildings™. By using the site or sending a quote request, you agree to them.
What we do
We collect quote requests for light gauge steel framing and pass them to manufacturing partners. We do not manufacture, engineer, deliver, erect or install framing, and we are not a contractor. Any order you place is with the manufacturer, under the manufacturer's own quote, contract and terms.
Estimates are not quotes
The steel vs. wood calculator and any figures on this site are planning estimates only. They are not offers, bids or quotes, and may use example values. Your manufacturer provides actual pricing.
Engineering and codes
Engineering is provided by the manufacturer. Stamped drawings are available on request, depending on project and state. Information on this site about codes, loads, permits or materials is general. Confirm requirements with your local building department and the engineer of record before you build.
Referral fees
Carolina Steel Buildings may receive a fee from manufacturers when a quote becomes an order. See thereferral disclosure.
Your submissions
Send only information and files you have the right to share. You allow us to use and share them with manufacturing partners to prepare your quote, as described in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, submit false information, or try to disrupt or access it without permission.
No warranty
The site and its content are provided as is. We do not guarantee that any manufacturer will quote your project, or any price, lead time, approval or result.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, CP Enterprises of SC LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using this site, and our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to $100.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
